Signing up and your trial

What the sign-up page asks for, when your card is charged, and what happens once your workspace is created.

You create your workspace yourself, on the sign-up page. It asks for your details, a plan and a card. When it finishes you are inside your workspace, one step away from connecting your AI.

What the page asks for

• Your details. First and last name, your work email, and a password of at least 12 characters.
• Your company name.
• A plan and how often you pay. Monthly or annual. Plans and pricing has the prices.
• A card. It goes straight to Stripe, our payment provider. The card number never touches Kanonik's servers.
• Your agreement to the terms. A tick box for the Terms of Service, the Privacy Notice and the Data Processing Agreement. Your acceptance is recorded on your workspace's tamper-evident record, so you can always show what you agreed to and when.

Then choose Start your 14-day trial. With an invite code, the button reads Create workspace and connect your AI.

When your card is charged

The trial lasts 14 days. We verify your card when you sign up, and we do not charge it. Right by the card field, the page shows the amount and the exact date of the first charge, 14 days from the day you sign up. On that date the plan price is charged, then every month or every year depending on what you picked, unless you cancel before then.

You can cancel at any time from Settings in your workspace. If you cancel during the trial, your card is never charged. Your subscription walks through it.

If the card does not go through

If your card is declined or cannot be verified, nothing is charged and your workspace does not open yet. The page tells you what happened, and you can try again with the same card or another one without typing your details again. If our payment provider cannot be reached at that moment, nothing is charged either, and the page tells you how to finish the card step.

If you have an invite code

Choose Have an invite code? under the payment details and enter the code. A valid code covers the workspace: no card is needed, and you are never charged on it.

After you sign up

On a trial, the welcome page confirms that the trial has started, that your card was verified and not charged, and the date of the first charge. With an invite code it confirms that your workspace is ready. Choose Enter your workspace. Two short steps follow:

1. A few questions about your company. All of them are optional. Your AI reads the answers from Kanonik, so it does not need to ask them again. To skip them, choose Skip, my AI will ask me instead.
2. Connecting your AI. Follow the steps for the AI client you already use and sign in once. See Connecting your AI.

From there, Your first job, step by step takes you to your first approved change.
