The Proof Snapshot¶
A free, signed copy of where your program stands that anyone can check offline.
When someone outside the company asks where your security program stands, a Proof Snapshot lets them check the answer for themselves. It is a signed copy of your program at one moment, made from your approved record. Anyone you send it to can confirm at kanonik.ai/verify that nothing in it has changed. They need no account.
What it contains¶
It shows where you stand on each framework in your workspace at the moment you made it, signed with your record's chain. Only approved work is in it. Drafts, and anything still waiting for a decision, never reach the record, so the snapshot leaves them out too.
What it costs¶
Nothing. Proof Snapshots are free on every plan, Starter included, and you can make as many as you like.

How someone checks it¶
They open kanonik.ai/verify and drop the file in. Nothing is uploaded. The check runs in their own browser, works out every fingerprint again and tests Kanonik's signature, so it shows whether anything changed between the moment you made the snapshot and the moment they opened it.
What it is not¶
A Proof Snapshot is not a certificate or an audit opinion, and it does not say your program meets a framework. It shows what your team approved, and that nobody changed it afterwards.
