Verify an Auditor Export
Choose an Auditor Export bundle and this page checks it in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, you don't need to sign in, and it works offline once the page has loaded.

What this page does
It runs the same checks as chain/verify.py, the Python checker that ships inside every export, using only your browser's built-in cryptography. The report names each check and says what a pass establishes.
You don't need to trust Kanonik to run it. The checking code is in this page, so you can read it before you use it.
No export to hand? Download our sample and choose it above. It's the audit package of Brightwater Metrics, a company we made up. Inside are a 17-page report, a PDF for each of its 66 records, the spreadsheets and the checker. We signed it with our public sample key, so it reads Passed with notes. Change one character in any of its files and it reads Failed, naming the file you changed. A valid signature is not a certification, and it doesn't show that the controls in the record are working.
